At Epiphany, serving others is not a program, it is part of how we follow Jesus. We believe God calls us to seek the well-being of the places where we live, work, and gather. In Tempe, that means showing up with compassion, building relationships, and working toward a more just and loving community for all.

Serving Tempe

We are rooted in the life of this city.

Inspired by Jeremiah 29, we seek the peace and flourishing of Tempe by serving alongside our neighbors and learning from those already doing the work of care and justice.

Our service is shaped by listening first, showing up consistently, and walking with others over time.

Through partnerships, relationships, and shared effort, we respond to real needs in real ways—together.

Justice & Advocacy

Following Jesus means caring deeply about justice.

We engage in advocacy and formation through initiatives such as the Valley Interfaith Project, along with broader efforts that call us to reflect, learn, and act on issues of dignity, equity, and systemic change.

This work is ongoing and shaped by prayer, conversation, and community discernment.

We are learning how to be faithful, courageous, and grounded in love as we respond to the needs of our time.

Rector's discretionary fund

The merciful hands of Christ.

The Rector's Discretionary Fund is one of the ways our parish puts faith into action on a weekly basis. Through your generosity, we provide emergency assistance to neighbors facing financial hardship, helping with essentials like rent, utilities, groceries, gas, and other urgent needs. Every gift becomes a tangible expression of God's love, offering hope, dignity, and practical support when it is needed most.
