Join us at coffee hour on March 10 as we view “The Ultimate Act of Love,” a short video produced by The Work of the People, a production group that makes films about spiritual discovery and transformation. Our selection for March 11th is about the power of forgiveness. The video features Brené Brown, an American researcher, author, and podcast host. Brown holds advanced degrees in social work, and is currently a professor at the University of Houston’s Graduate College. In her research, she has studied the interconnections between courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. Her 2010 TED talk, “The Power of Vulnerability,” is among the five most frequently viewed TED talks. She is also an Episcopalian. We will have discussion questions about the video on the tables in the parish hall. Come enjoy a cup of coffee and some thoughtful conversation as we journey through Lent.
