Our own Stanlie James will be speaking about her book: Practical Audacity: Black Women and International Human Rights. Stanlie is a distinguished teacher and scholar whose work explores the contributions of black women to the implementation of international human rights. Her book examines how thirteen black women working in different venues and at different levels made significant contributions to this field.
